Obligation to Provide Data
In general, you are only required to provide the data that is necessary for proper handling of the process or that we are legally obliged to collect. If a legal basis mandates the provision of your personal data, the legal consequences of not providing such data are determined by that regulation.
Collection and Purpose of Personal Data When Visiting Our Website
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports only processes your personal data to the extent necessary for fulfilling its tasks or when consent has been given.
The legal basis for processing personal data in the context of tasks performed in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority is Article 6(1)(e) GDPR in conjunction with the relevant national or EU legislation, as well as § 4 of the State Data Protection Act (LDSG).

Recipients of the Data
BITBW Data Center
The data is hosted by BITBW on behalf of the Institute for Educational Analysis Baden-Württemberg (IBBW).
We may also transfer personal data to other authorities, courts, and constitutional bodies in Baden-Württemberg, as well as those in other German states or federal bodies, where necessary and legally permitted for fulfilling our or their duties.
We also collaborate with other state administration bodies and selected service providers on a legal basis. These entities may process personal data on our behalf, and we will share your data with them as required.
The purpose of this data processing is to ensure operational functionality. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(e) GDPR in conjunction with §§ 4 and 15 LDSG, and § 1 SchG.
