What is my assessment of my child?
The questionnaire helps you to assess your child’s transferable skills. These are general skills that are not associated with a specific subject (e.g. maths or German).
They include the following:
Social skills
(example: how much of a team player is my child?)Personal skills
(example: how independent is my child?)Methodological skills
(example: how good is my child at solving problems?)Basic cognitive skills
(example: how good is my child at maintaining concentration?)
Your assessment will help your child to think about themselves and consider what they are good at.
Complete the questionnaire. Then talk to your child about your assessment:
How do you currently perceive your child? How does your child perceive themselves?
Are there any everyday situations that you can use to illustrate your views?
Ask your child to show you their BOaktiv skills profile or talk to them about how they see themselves:
Are there any overlaps between your assessments?
Are there any differences in your assessments?
In which areas does your child have strengths?
